Review: Convergence: Swamp Thing 02
Len Wein has knocked it out of the park yet again with issue 2!
Enter the Red Rain Batman (Earth 43) and an entire Gotham over taken by vampires! Swampy and Abigail have to reluctantly team up with the bloodsucking Batman to end the scourge of undead in this crazy Gotham cross over. The dialogue is so pitch perfect 1988 Elseworlds its just amazing. Quirky little one liners here and there show that this is absolutely a throw back to those "graphic novels" we grew up on. Again Jones's artwork is stellar and drips with personality and flair. If you never seen the cover of this book you'd think it was produced years ago. The only disappointing thing about this book is that it isn't going to keep going. Watch for Swamp Thing #1 in the new DC You.
