Review: Secret Wars 2099 02
Wow, what a turn around. I was literally ready to write off this series after issue one and I'm so glad I didn't. The real meat came out in this issue and it's FANTASTIC.
I love being wrong. Peter David has sucked me into this world yet again. With his amnesiac Captain America, cannibalistic Black Widow, mutated Hawkeye, Hercules and this new Iron Man.
The treat here is Miguel O'Harre working for Alchemx a
nd essentially being the "Nick Fury" for Avengers 2099.
The art is still a mixed bag, but the story has really revealed itself. The Avengers getting into a fight with Hulk 2099 and watching to see where this story is going take us is getting really exciting.
